Research Study

Adult Survivors of Child Abuse or Trafficking

Ark of Hope for Children and our child abuse and trafficking trauma-informed programs are excited to encourage adult survivors of child abuse to take part in the following research study.

"You are invited to participate in a research study that will advance current knowledge on how different maltreatment experiences in childhood are associated with health in adulthood. The ultimate goal of this research is to improve understanding of the influences of childhood trauma on adult life to inform strategies for intervention with children and adults with histories of childhood maltreatment.

This is an area of research that has not been explored and it has immense meaning for understanding childhood maltreatment and developing effective treatment interventions.

Participation in this study involves completing 3 online assessments, which should take about 45 minutes or less. Directions for accessing the assessments are listed below. Once you access the website, additional instructions are provided for completing the assessments.
